Description

The Beads of Courage Workshop is a hands-on, two hour community service project at HPRAR. Members will get expert instruction on how to create Beads of Courage to benefit the program aiding children with cancer as they progress through their individual cancer treatments. 

What is Beads of Courage? 

Kisses4Kate is the proud sponsor of Beads of Courage, at Brenner Children's Hospital, in memory of Kate Thornton. This is a new program for children with cancer. For each treatment milestone the children undergo, they receive a bead. Children are able to share the story of their treatment journey, with many of them receiving over 500 beads throughout the course of their treatment (hair loss, chemo, bone marrow transplant, etc).
